Fair price for a used Savage X 4.6
A girl that I'm in class with told me to make an offer on her Savage X 4.6. What is a fair price for it if it is in good condition as well as if it is not-so-good condition? I could probably get her to sell it for as little as $50 but I am not the kind of person to rip someone off, but at the same time I don't want to get ripped off. I would appreciate help.

RE: Fair price for a used Savage X 4.6
last year I paid $200 (shipped) for one in almost perfect condition(had 5 extremely light scratches on the bumper) with full RPM arms
Engine was shot cause the guy couldn't figure out how to run it, didn't bother breaking the engine in, and ran it insanely lean (I couldn't even get fuel into the engine with how he had the needles set)
I also bought another complete savage(with 2 bodies, motor, and a few other goodies) for $140 shipped, earlier on the same day I saw a roller in worst shape, with no extras sell for $40 more.
So its a hard call on how much to offer her.

From what I've found online, you got some really good deals then. All the used ones I found were around $250-350. Anyway, I decided not to get it since I am buying a 8ight 2.0 and a Slash 4x4 tomorrow. I've got to draw the line somewhere .</p>
