TC3...learning the basics of racing
I picked up a cheap Factory Team TC3 roller for $60. However on these old TC3's thewheel nuts are such an odd-ball size at 8/32"
Luckily oneof my racing buddies had theplastic T wrench thatcame withthe kit to change tires. I've been to all 5 LHSaround here and still cannot find a SINGLE 8/32" nut driver.
Is there a way Ican change the nut size and still fit the axle with a different nut?
Obviously a standard 4mm nut won't work....</p>

My cousin used a regular socket screwdriver from the hardware store, on his AE wheels.

My TC3 is also 11/32" and a regular 11/32" socket works great.
If you remember basic math, 8/32" is realy 1/4 inch and the wheel nuts are bigger than that.

RE: TC3...learning the basics of racing
I guess the previous owner put on 8/32" nuts since they weren't the FT blue...I used a 8/32" socket from a Dynamite tool kit from a buddy and it was dead on snug. 11/32" had a lot of slop but I could still remove the nuts.
I'm thinking I can just get a set of 11/32" and a socket driver if you all are saying it should thread in just fine?

yes a factory team option was what they called halfnuts. associated used them on the touring cars as well 1/12 cars. that was way back in the day.
