Default Newbie to On Road TC Spec Class

We have just started a 17.5 TC spec class at my LHS.

I got myself a nice Factory Team TC3 roller with Novak's 17.5 BLSS Spec combo. Now I need a TC body...I guess everyone runs Protoform bodies? We run Sorex rubber tires btw and it's an outdoor paved blacktop track.

Should I get a lightweight body or a regular body from Protoform?

Get a regular one... you will destroy a light body within weeks, especially on an outdoor concrete track.

If you are overweight in your class I might lean towards getting the light weight body but then u trade off how strong the body is.. for a big event I use a light weight body.. but for club racing I use a regular body..

Get the Speed6 protoform body.. most stable body hands down..
