The Castle 4600 vs the VXL 3500 is worlds different horsepower-wise. If you can't see a massive difference in actual POWER, whether you're racing or bashing, you've got no business telling people that one is better than the other...the 4600 has worlds more power than the VXL 3500, and the 4pole 4600 should be an even MEANER animal when it starts coming in stock.
the 4600 is worlds more powerful than the 3500- im calling you out thunderbird- where did you get your information?

Nope, but properly geared, the 4600 is faster. ThunderbirdJunkie doesn't suppose you have evidence to the contrary, do you?

nobody eagled the 4600- but tom and pat at castle mark it right around 750 watts, "maybe" 800, and the 3500 eagles in right at 750 watts also.

is the 4 pole castle better? yes. does traxxas need to change some things around? yes. if youre happy with the 4600 performance, good, but saying its worlds faster is kind of exaggerated- maybe just a little.

I'm not saying its the best thing since sliced bread, but i think its a good motor.

There's nothing wrong with the VXL 3500kv motor, but to even claim that it's equal or better than the Castle 4600 is just silly.

Yes. 60w is the bare minimum for soldering RC stuff ITBJHO.

Caslte esc, vxl motor. Silicone the rx/esc in either in a custom box or traxxas tx box and it's good in any weather. I run my tmaxx all year even into -25c snow wet or dry. Everything is siliconed and never had a problem with electronics, took only minutes to do. </p>
