Default Fuji-IMVAC 86 ignition fault

I am having lots of trouble with the ignition on my Fuji-IMVAC 86, I have replaced several coil packs, the indication when they start failing is the engine starts to misfire at high RPM, is there any reason why I couldn't fit the RCEXL ignition system to the engine, if not, could you please advise me why.

Thanks in advance
Rich

It should be a fairly easy process to fit an RC exl ignition to your engine. Check with RC exl vendors like Jody at Valley View, Milton at RC Extreme or Ralph at RC Ignitions for correct purchase and fitting details.

The original sensor will fire a RCexl ignition but it will be timed wrong,

One way to get around this is to pull the prop hub and flywheel and remove the key from the key way and time the flywheel for the engine to fire at 28 deg and the tighten the bolt holding the flywheel, The tamper on the crank and flywheel will hold it in place, The key is just there for aliment during assembly of the engine parts.
