Default Just got a killer deal on a Great Planes J-3 Cub 90"...

I am going to pick it up this weekend.

It's brand new, never flown, with 5 brand new servos (not sure what kind), and a brand new never started O.S. 65LA engine on it.. I got it for $150. all together.

Looking for a few tips or reviews on it please! It's fully assembled already, I just need to install the pushrods, and the windshield, and my RX.

Will the OS65 be sufficient to pull it around? I can't wait to get this plane, I love J-3's and have always wanted a big plane like that.. It's going to be awesome.

Also, is there any way to make the ailerons act as flaperons? It has a seperate servo for each aileron.. Or does it already fly pretty slow?

Thanks

I'd think it would. I had a OS 70 four stroke on mine and it flew very scale like at 1/2 throttle.

As long as you plug each aileron into a seperate channel on your receiver, yes. If the servos are hooked up with a "y" harness, then it won't work.

Flies like a Cub! I think you'll enjoy it. Have fun with it!

Best regards,
Mike
