P-200 is giving me more than 50lbs of thrust!
I strongly doubt about that.
The best 200SX I have measured was giving 230 N of thrust at ISA ( 51,7 lb force )
The best 200 I measured gave me 212 N ( 47,6 lb force )

These were both factory selected engines, tested on my laboratory equipment.
I measured 3 P-200 and 2 P-200SX so far.

I might of measured wrong, I will go back and re check my readings. I do know this much, the plane now has a noticable increase in power since I changed pipes.
P.S heraldoboldrin plane looks really good! Great job! (How did you attach your armament)

armament is glue in the rails.. (but i can remove the tanks from it..)
i insert a hard wood in the wing going from the down side up touching the uper side... than we use the dubro inserts as the pictures..

in the rails we insert an aluminium tube to guide the screw... and the tanks is easier to see in the pictures what we did..

I didn´t fly with it yet.. but fixe very well....

If you don´t undestand.. i can send more pictures...

My F-15 is still a little nose heavy. I balanced it with the fuel cells empty should I re balance with fuel in the front tank, flaps and gear down?

Bob,

Do you have the vector thrust installed on your F-15?

Good to hear that you are still enjoying your FEJ F-15. My plane has been ready to go for past year and half now. For some reason, I can't seem to get back around to it. If I don't get it flown by the end of the year, I might just put it up for sale.[8D]

Hey,

Just curious why the devices at the tops of the fins look like that. I see it like that on a number of F-15 models, but I can't find any pics of real Eagles with doohickies up there positioned that way. Is that just a manufacture thing with the models, or are there F-15's like that in real life? BTW, this is NOT a slam or a diss to this lovely model, just a genuine question.

Sean,

Check airliners.net site. Tons of photos of F-15 Eagles with that exact configuration.

Hi,

I don't think they both are. I think one of them is some kind of counterweight.

Dave

Thanks. I should have been more clear/specific in my question. On the model, the devices seem to be centered on the top of the VS, whereas on the full-scale, they appear to line up with the trailing edge and extend forward. That's what I'm asking about... are there full-scale F-15's like that?

Thanks

Mario, my Real Brother...

U R my Man on top of that... You're one respectful man - you honor me still via my Cessna's tail number, you didn't change it, and now, you give me the same honor via putting me in the driver's seat of my X F-15. You and Maria are my family - no BS - this you know...

Thank you, Sir...

Mr DJ
