I am just getting into surface rc after realizing how crappy I am at flying helis and am looking at the stampede 4x4 vxl. I like that it's fast, can handle all kinds of terrain, a great price point, durable, and waterproof to boot.My only problem is asthetically it is not as pleasing to me as the savage 2350 or savage flux hp. The only thing I don't like is how high up the body sits on those pegs.Is that something that is adjustable?Is it necessary based on the hardware that's underneath? Are there other bodies out there that might sit lower specifically for the stampede?Thanks.

If your choice is limited to the three models you've listed, I would go Savage Flux.  The best of the 3 you are considering.  You can adjust the height of the body pegs, but you'll probably find that the suspension travel comes in to play if you go low enough.

No disrespect to the loyal Stampede fans out there!

I appreciate the response. I was so torn between something big and fun like the 2350, flux hp or stampede and that damn savage flux xs that I keep hearing people are having problems with. It is a tough choice because I want my first ground RC experience to go well and don't want esc's blowing up on me and such like people are saying about the xs, even if it might be a rare thing. So torn

I have nothing against Savages at all.

I own an E-Revo Brushless edition, I have no complaints about that truck, either.

ive never heard anything bad about the flux or stampede. but i would go with the flux, cause its BIG,,,,FAST,,,and AWESOME looking
