Lame! The gear is clearly 2mm too long for a real 1:22 scale!

I know it's not jet related, but did you guys saw on the same page the video of the same event where a full scale (modeled at full size) french Cri-cri is flown on the same location?, at maybe 10 mph! unbelievable...

sure it is jet related, there is a full size (!) turbine powered CRI CRI..... a couple of edf units on that baby, and away you go!!

Amazing! The Airbus' slow flight and the pilot's depth perception and accuracy had me fighting the urge to think the whole flight was rigged and fake. I'd love to know the weight of the Airbus.

Yep, they both were. They flew like then had a decent amount of mass, which made them steady, but the helium reduced the weight so they could get off the ground at a very slow airspeed. You've got to admit those Germans a clever dudes...
