Can't find tires
Hello all, new here and looking for some usefull info to get my buggy back in shape. I have an old 1984 Team associated rc10 buggy that i started to modernize about 10 years ago with a new motor and speed controler. installed the stuff drove the buggy a little and attempted to find tires for it since the rear are now slicks. and had no luck in the search and benched it till now. I want to run it. the question to all the people that maybe have found tires for theirs, is where? Ihave the parts book and part numbers but i think they are outdated. Ilike this buggy a lot Ibuilt it with my Dad and want it to function again. thanks

RE: Can't find tires
why not just get a new set of buggy rims, and new tires to put on them
I'm only assuming it uses a standard pin through the axle style with a 12mm hex piece that fits over that. If so you can look for HPI Brama 10B rims (the rims were probably the only good thing about that RC), and some 2.2inch buggy tires which there are tons of.
If you just want tires there are plenty made by various manufacturers Pro-line I find to have some of the best that last a long time, but they can be kind of pricey. As for what type of tire it all depends on where you are driving it.

RE: Can't find tires
The older RC10 buggies used a conical axle, so you will need to either get an old set of CVD's or convert to the later axles to run standard 2.2 buggy wheels.
To convert over, you will need [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGEJ8&P=7]these[/link],[link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEAA9&P=7]these[/link], [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBNFV&P=7]these[/link], and [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPA18&P=7]two sets of these[/link].
If you dont feel like converting, you could always just look on ebay for some 2.0 tires.
