Anyone still watching this thread? I was wondering what everyone used on their Rookie II for retracts. Thats the last thing I need to hunt down and buy. I know Todd has a nice set of retracts for it but was just wondering what the alternatives were for them. Thanks.

If I wanted to build another one I would go electric. The RII was my first jet with robart 630s. I would get the Electron retracts and some 1/2 inch trailing link struts from Todd. Go with 3 inch tires and air for brakes and then when the electric brakes become available convert to those. No gear doors to worry about, it's a great test bed for these new products.
