onboard glow
Jeff:
This has been hashed over on RCU many times.
If you want to be fancy, get one of the electronic controllers.
If you want less expense with a switched glow driver hang a micro switch on the throttle servo, turn it on when getting down toward idle.
Or do it the simple way. Hook a remote connector to the glow plug and hard wire a sub C nicad to stay on all the time. If the plug is accessible you don't even need a switch - take the connector off the plug when not starting or running.
Bill.
