Do i have to shorten the tail boom on the Hk500cmt
I tried putting the tail boom on and its belt is so tight that i have to force the front drive pulley shaft had to be forced into the bearing track or groove and if i assembled both halfes of the boom holder and tried spinning the front pulley it did not move freely....as if it was straining to move. Also i found this gold color washer on the table and it fits on the front pulley shaft as if it slides on between the shaft between the bearing and the top of the pulley...but there is only one..could someone please help

Yes, you most likely will. If I remember right I had to remove about .200". I just used a tubing cutter.

I don't remember that part, but I'll try to attach a manual that should get you close... Stand by.
OK, the file was too large, but if you do a search for the Trex 500 ESP manual it should be really close to what you have.
