CG Ultimite Color
I'm thinking of getting a CG Ultimate but the color scares me. I have a H9 Edge that has the same basic scheme and its hard to see. Is the Ultimate hard to see? Any input would be appreciated.

CG Ultimite Color
Yes, it is at any real distance.
To help, I added two 2 inch wide yellow stripes on the bottom win tips runnung front to back spaced at two inches. I also put another stripe spanwise across the top wing (same size as side stripe) and got another "BLUEHAWK" sticker for it. The top stripe is accurate to the real plane (and old kit mentions it), and really helped with visability. Without the yellow, there were too many times that I was flying a "plane shaped shadow". The yellow broke up the blue enough to help.
Another member of my club got one and put a yellow sunburst on the top wing and stripes underneath. His was then easy to see too.
If you add color, make some of it visable from the front of the plane (wrap around the leading edge a bit) to help with approaches in poor light. The stripes on the bottom wing were enough for my eyes at dusk.
Good luck.
