twin weed eater plans
i am looking for rc boat plans. i want it big enough to handle 1-5 foot waves and i want to build it. it also has to be wide enough to fit the dual weed eater engines. do any of yall have any plans about that especially the wiring because this will be my first rc boat build but i want it to be the biggest and the baddest that i will ever make.
thanks

It isn't going to be the biggest and baddest boat around if you're just going to use weedie engines. Sorry, but I tend to be brutally honest at times. One foot waves can be done but when you start talking anything over that, these boats are simply not made for those kinds of waves or chop. When I had a Bass boat I wouldn't take it out in big waves like that much less an RC boat.
If you can be patient for a little while I iknow that one manufacturer who is well-known for wood boat kits (OK, that probably gave it away for others) is coming out with 2 kits in the near future that are both 72" long in a Cat and deep-vee version that will probably be cheaper that it would cost you for the wood alone.
Reality also sets in when you have to think about transporting and launching big boats like that as I hope that you have some big strong friends willing to go with you to the lake, swamp, ocean or wherever you plan on running it at.
