Default Powerbox Terminal

After some of the recent threads talking about updating the software/firmware of Powerbox products, I have had a look at the website to see if my Cockpit SRS has the latest software.

Am I missing something as I can't find any information on their site to help me at all? There is nothing that I can find that shows what the latest software version is, or a history of what updates have been issued and what they do. The USB adapter, whilst mentioned on the iGyro page, isn't shown as a standalone item to buy.

If I download the Powerbox Terminal software, does it tell me any of this info or is it all top secret?[&o]

OK,

So I have found that my Cockpit SRS is V05. Does that mean that there have been 10 changes to the software since mine? If so, is there anywhere that says what these 10 changes are?

I understand that one of them may be to do with the sequencer. Does anyone know if there are new instructions to go with the new sequencer?

Are all Powerbox Cockpit SRS's updateable via the Terminal software? If I can get hold of a USB cable, where do I plug it in?

Maybe I need to ask Powerbox. I would have thought that, given this excellent capability, they would be keen to provide a bit more info[&o]

Can anyone please help with trying to get the Terminal software running on an XP machine?? It keeps coming up with "Install.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

It's impossible to have it installed automatically....Same error here on 5 different computers....

You need to install it manually:

From the powerbox-systems folder under install

First, install the driver for the usb interface

Second, install the Java6 application

Then , you need to copy / paste some files from the install folder to the program files/java folder

Does anyone have an email address for powerbox? I can't find one on the website.

( I need to know if on a cockpit SRS if it's possible to specify only using one batteries supply to feed the sequencer- so in the event of an electric retract stalling, and not cutting out, it wouldn't drain both your batteries)

I picked up a copy of their 2012 Catalog from Al's Hobbies during my recent trip to the UK.

Their email address is [email protected].

George
