RCS 140, what is it really?
Hello all,
I have an RCS 140 and after doing a few searches, Im a bit confused. Some websites and posts refferred to it being 14.4cc, while others say its a 22 cc gas engine.
Exactly what is it?
Whats a good plane for it today? not really interested in 3D type aerobatics, just want to have something fun (or scale) to fly, that isnt a profile plane.
Thank you!
Bill S.

Small engines need more oil. Has to do with the swept area of the cylinder relative to the fuel passing through the area. T.O.M. explained it on here one time. Can't remember exactly, but small engines use less fuel relative to the square inches of cylinder wall. Therefore, you need more oil in the mix.

Well, thank you all for setting it right on its size.
Would it be safe to say, since I follow the "What are you putting your DLE 20 in..." thread, the same planes would work for this engine as well?
Id like to find something acrobatic, not necessarily a 3D type though...
maybe the BH T-28. Guy in my club has one with a DLE20, seems like a nice combo. He is still relatively new to flying, so not sure how acrobatic it is...

The Moki is a fine engine, and I would like to try one, but I can't get past the look of the carb sticking out almost to the prop. The carb looks bigger than the cylinder on the smaller engines. Maybe I'll put one on a Stik type plane with no cowl. A 1.20 sized stik with one battery(rx and ign.) would work great. Or a plane with a cowl that is flat under the prop shaft. That's the ticket!! An excuse for another plane!

I was born confused!
But as far as this engine goes, not any more!
Knowing its a 22cc vs 14cc opens up a lot more options for it!
Thanks,
Bill S.
