AE MGT 4.6 Yard Sale Find!!!!!!
I picked up a Team Associated MGT 4.6 Nitro Monster Truck at a yard sale today.
It looks like it's in good shape, but I have never had a nitro RC before.
I'm not sure how long it has been sitting. The air filter is a little dirty, but not terrible.
The pull start is broken, so I know I need to replace that, but is there anything else I should know before I try to start it up?

RE: AE MGT 4.6 Yard Sale Find!!!!!!
You got a great deal, but it's possible that it could be another $200 easy considering that the engine could be bad, tires are probably in terrible shape, etc. but it could end up being a fun project and even more fun to drive if you don't mind putting a good 3-10 hours of work into it depending on what needs to be replaced. Have any pictures? By the way, if putting that much money or time into it doesn't sound like something you'd be onto, let me know and we might be able to work something out. PM me if interested.

New glow plug, new filter element (be sure to oil it), remove and clean the fuel tank, maybe replace the fuel lines, fresh batteries for the receiver and of course a new pull-start.
Perform a radio check before you start it to ensure that everything works and the servos move in the correct direction. Adjust linkages as necessary and test the brakes.
