Throttle Response
I bought a tower .46 and am running into a problem. Here goes, I adjusted the low end to get a good idle and transition to the high end then adjusted the high end to max rpm and backed off 500 rpm. The problem is it runs perfect until it gets below half a tank then it developes a hesitation between idle and full throttle. It will stumble then accelerate fine. The carb is tight against case, no bubbles in fuel line and will shut off when the trim is backed all the way down. I have this engine on a profile hots that I pulled an O.S.46fx off that ran fine with the same tank setup. Does anyone have any suggestions?

RE: Throttle Response
Thanks for the info. I'll try it again, I guess it will take some tinkering with. If all else fails I'll go back to the O.S.. I guess I've been lucky for the last 10 years, having owned all O.S. with the exception of one Saito, I have never had to adjust the low end, all ran perfect straight out of the box. I guess you get what you pay for.
Thanks,
Rj

RE: Throttle Response
I forgot to mention that I have also had a YS 120, what a great engine. As for the $5 give me a while and if I can't get it straight you can have it. Ha Ha!!! [sm=biggrin.gif]
