I need help about getting into nitro car racing
ok i work at a pawn shop dream job for a 22 year old and a guy came in and got rid of a HPI Nitro RS4 3 and iv been wanting to get back in to racing is that car worth buying? will it be able to keep up with the comptition and does it have alot of hop ups and i think it has a .15 engine will i be able to put a .12 engine. thank you so much for the help

depends how much you can buy it for... don't bump it down to a 12... sheesh... keep the 15.. it's a nice engine.. unless it's not the SS version.. give us a price.. and we'll tell you if it's worth it or not

well he sold it to us for 60 bucks so thats what ill pay for it but would it be a good car to race at the track?

Depends on what type of racing you're gonna do. IMO I would change the engine and some suspension parts before considering racing. But for $60, I'd pick it up just for the deal! Even used, the car is worth more than twice that.

Its a acceptable entry level car for a entry level racer. If you want to be competitive above the novice class you are going to need a different car.
Mugen MTX-3, HPI R40 are the hot cars, you cant go wrong with one of these. You will be competitve with these cars as long as you know how to set one up and how to drive.
