Default RS4 wheels on ofna hubs or change the hubs?

I want to use RS4 wheels on a monster pirate buggy chassis. First will the wheels clear the hub? Second, will the rs4 dogbone/universal cups fit in the hubs? Or would it be better to just drill out the hole in the rs4 wheels to fit the ofna type hub through? I think both OFNA and HPI use 17mm hubs just HPI has a thru shaft w/17mm hub adapter with a small nut and OFNA has the big shaft with the nut.

Yes i know i'll have to change the gearing to comp for the smaller dia.

Thanks
