problems w/ my gt

Default problems w/ my gt

whenever i give my gt a lot of throttle, not even full throttle but like 3/4 then engine bogs then dies, do you kno whats wrong? i have tried changing the glow plug but it didn't help. and help would be appreciateed

too lean. turn the main throttle 1/4 turn to the left.

make it richer didn't help, it still happens and a new glow plug doesn't help either

so shoudl i lean it out then, the other guy told me to richen it? would yours die a little after 1/2 throttle?

Mine died at 1/2 throttle or more.... First I had to mess with the LSN then lean out the HSN and it was fine. But I had to work the LSN before I did nothe HSN....

This was with the TMaxx 2.5's.... I had same prob with both of them...

well great now my car won't even start even with a fully charged igniter and new plug...THIS SUCKS, any suggestions?

Start over with the factory settings? Without the instructions, I would say three turns out on the high needle and make the low end needle level with the outer edge of the carburator. That should give you a good starting point. And use a medium to hot glow plug, just to get you engine started and tuned. O.S A3 or A8 would do fine.

My friend and I had a similiar condition with our RTRs. They would idle well enough but wouldn't run due to a lean condition. Pull out the high speed needle assy. and look for garbage in the needle. The stuff I experienced was miniscule. Clean everything up and return to the factory settings. Good luck
