Thanks. So how dose one add up the .060 listed on the link? The plates are about 10mm

Would you use this with ply or get a bunch and layer it up?<br type="_moz" />

I believe it is details 4 scale makes a carbon fiber plate for the razor as well as the raptor. When I broke the plates in my razor I made new ones out of 1/4" ply and just laminated a layer of carbon cloth on each side. The plates are very thick where the retract mounts.

I had hundreds of flights on mine. Just go with the 1/4" plywood and fly the crap out of it

Agreed ... have carbon/composite plates as spares for my CAI Raptor ( Same plane but bigger) however I have been flying on plywood mounts without any issues. I fly mostly off of grass so that should tell you how they hold up

Hi Mike,
You can go 1/2" up/down on the ailerons, 1-1 1/4"up/down on the elevator, 60-70 degrees on the landing flaps...no more or it becomes a brake The more rudder you can get the better... like 2'' and then use your rate switches from there. I set all my controls max throw till the servo buzzed and then back it off a little to quieten things down. Set your nose gear on a separate knob to trim by itself. Call me with any questions at 903-496-2939 Great jet, you'll love it.

Jack

I seem to remember that it is on the front of the cover plate for the retract cover. Take a pic of the bottom and wing and I am sure I can remember. It was either the front or back but once I look it should be obvious to me
