Help ZDZ 80 blue head
Ok guys I'm loseing my mind.
This is my 2nd ZDZ so I know there dif to start.
Im putting this ZDZ80 Blue head on my new 50cc 81in GeeBee R3.
Im haveing major interverance issue with the throtel servo
I have 9 othere gassers so I'm going with the norm
I was useing a opto kill swich with its own 6.6 life battery and once I got the motor running it was ok but when I tried to power up the throtel servo would skip/jump all over the place makeing the motor to run odd
I have tried everything. Makeing sure no wires are touching the 4-40 rod that has plastic connectors and plastic servo arms. I tried 2 kill swiches, 2 diff servos. Hitec 422 plastic and hs 645 MG , I tried a regular on off swich with no connections to the reciver power system.
The only thing that works is if I plug the separate 6.6 life right into the ignition with no swich of any kind
i can't fly like this this motor to big not to have a electronic kill swich by TX
any ideals ?
it also has a spark plug cap unlike any I have seen.
Could it be the plug?
im using DX18 with AR7000
thanks mike

Hey Mike, good to hear the engine is up and running. When I ran it on my test stand I didn't have a servo hooked up to the throttle or I would have let you know about something like this. Anyway, glad the electrical "choke" fixed it.
