Default Can you use futaba s-bus servos with JR?

I may be selling my bobcat that has all s-bus servos. I'm pretty sure JR would work with the powerbox, any easier way to do it? Will any of the robbe stuff work?

S-Bus servos work with any standard setup too.

Bob, wouldn't someone have to use the converter and rewire like traditional back to the rx?

Other than running a seperate lead for each servo, NO.

S-Bus servos work with any standard PWM Rx output or in an S-Bus network.

Have look here:

http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/sbus-servo-manual.pdf

You just plug them into a normal RX and they work. It looks like the programmable functions held in the servo are retained so if you've used a CIU-2 (or 18MZ) to reverse it (or change any other settings) you will need a CIU-2 to reset/change them back again.

I believe its just like the Hitec digitals that are programmable and will work on any reciever as long as the PWM signals are compatible. As mentioned, the jet would need to be rewired back to conventional methods where each servo would have its own lead back to the receiver.

Dr Scoles,
just do a little research as I believe if you buy the Robbe Battery Backer PSS 2018 you can plug in you JR satellite receivers in to it and still retain the one or two cables running the servos.
For all you experts out there before you get your guns out like I stated I am not 100% sure but confident enough to suggest this.

You are correct, I have one of these units you can plug in Satellites.
