Default D/R set up for airplanes

I would like to learn how to setup D/R, Expos, and Diff on rc airplanes. Are there any instructions or manuals I can download that will help me ?

these settings are different for every radio manufacturer (and often different between transmitter model #'s) .. the Spektrum DX7 setup is diffferent from the DX-9 and the DX-18...
ditto Futaba, Hitec etc...

if you google the type transmitter model # and add manual at the end, you should find what you need.
Example:
Spektrum DX7S manual

on the first result line I get this:
http://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/F...-Manual_EN.pdf

hope that helps!

A typical ARF manual for .45 or larger models will usually show you a few of the things you need to know.

Dual Rate It's not uncommon to set the low rate to about 75% of the high rate.
Expo is also often used, and I'd start with about 35%, and work up or down as you prefer.
Differential varies, but the aileron with the trailing edge down during a turn or bank
is usually set to have less deflection than the aileron with the trailing edge up.
(As much as 50% of throw on some models, One aileron at full deflection, the other at 1/2.)

Flap to Elevator coupling/mixing is also often used to decrease pitch changes when the Flaps are deployed.
If the TX has flight modes, Power to elevator mixing might be made available in a "high speed" mode.
For landing and takeoff, it should usually not be used (Landing/takeoff flight mode)

I referred to the model's control surface behavior instead of the TX, since how things are done varies from one TX model to another.
