If nobody else gets to this today I will gladly sit down and write it up tonite. Have to do some family time until later. You could however log onto the IMAC website and get to aresti catalog and find descriptions of all the symbols. Learning aresti is a must if you plane to fly IMAC.

Ok I think I have it all worked out correctly. I wrote the descriptions with the wind coming in from right to left. Some rolling elements would have to be reversed if you are to fly it the other way around. IMAC sequences are getting more difficult each year and IMO this is partly responsible for the decline in participation but that is another thread for a different time.
1. Laydown Humpty. From invert push to vert upline, 1 neg snap, push 5/8 loop to 45 degree downline, 2 point roll, push to level invert exit.
2. Emmelman. 1 full roll, push 1/2 loop, 4 point roll at top.
3. Down Sharks tooth? Push to vert downline, 1 neg snap, pull to 45 degree upline, 4 of 8 point roll to left, 1 1/4 roll to right, pull to invert level exit.
4. Spin. 1 1/4 neg spin to the right, 1/2 roll to left, exit invert cross box outbound.
5. Roller. 270 degree roller with 1 inside roll for every 90 degrees of circle. Invert exit.
6. Double Humpty? push to very upline, 3/4 pos snap to the right, push top cross box outbound to downline, 1 1/4 roll to right on downline, pull bottom to vert upline, 2 points of 4 point roll, push to level upright exit.
7. Split ess. 1 1/2 pos snap, pull 1/2 loop, at bottom 1/2 roll left, 4 points of 8 to the right, upright exit.
8. Hammerhead. Pull vert, 1 pos snap, hammer, 1/4 roll to left followed by 3/4 roll to right, push to invert exit.
9. Loop. push first half, 1/2 roll to right followed by 1 roll to right at top, pull second half to finish loop.
10. Lay down humpty. pull to 45 degree upline, 1 pos snap, pull 1/2 loop to 45 degree invert downline , 1 1/2 neg snap opposite direction 1/2 roll, push to invert level.
Quite complicated and practically impossible to read word for word during a flight, that is why it is important for you and your caller to memorize Aresti. Remember you will still have to learn an unknown sequence over nite during a contest weekend and there will be no word descriptions for that either.

This may be the wrong place to post this and I might have it wrong. If so please enlighten me..
On the IMAC website the IMAC World Champs is scheduled for Muncie week of 6th to 12th July 2014. On the AMA site this date is for the AMA Nationals. On the same AMA site the IMAC Worlds in Muncie is shown as 2nd to 6th September 2014. Have I missed something?
Thanks for any reply.

Hi Ed.... Not sure where you have seen on the IMAC website that the Worlds is July.... Maybe you can direct me where that is?
The NATIONALS is in July and the Worlds is in September.
If you visit the home page & look at the top left link there is a button with a drop down list for the Worlds website http://www.imacworlds.com/

Wayne

We will work hard to provide a fun experience for the pilots and family. One of our goals for this year is to provide all competitors with far impartial and accurate judging. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can get our Judging matrix completed ahead of time. The Muncie area has a great selection of hotels at good prices.

Hi Wayne,
Many thanks for clearing that up for me. Obviously I should have paid closer attention.
Next question, if I want to see the best of the best Which event should I attend? AMA NATS or IMAC World Championships? I would expect a pretty good entry in both.
Regards,
Ed S

Hi Ed.... The NATS is normally USA/sometimes Canada.
The Worlds, being the inaugural World Championship has attracted many pilots from overseas and you can take a look at the registration on the drop down tab with the different classes being flown.
Freestyle will be on both Friday and Saturday, culminating in the trophy presentation at the gala banquet on Saturday night.
Given a choice, I would recommend the World Championship hands down.
Hope to see you there.
I noticed that you are in Ontario.... There is a strong Canadian Team attending the event.... So come on down & cheer your country along.
Regards & safe flying.
