Default Weatronic BAT 60 distinctive finish.

Hello All.
A small poll here to see what you guys would like or not.

I have made a compression mold of the Weatronic BAT 60 bottom. With that, I moulded a carbon fiber part.
The idea would be to offer a mixed finish: injection molding and carbon fiber. Below is a picture of the first prototype. The clear coat is a bit rough, but this gives an idea of the result:

As a next step, I was thinking about adding leather pads and possibly colored stitching.
So I made some tests with some different leather grades and colors.

Smooth grain grey leather:

Smooth grain tan leather:

Rough grain brown leather:

Black Ostrich:

Red drilled rubber padding:

All material/ color combinations are possible. I'd like to know what your preference would be.
Thanks.

Oli,

Are you pursuing these from a cosmetic / appearance opportunity, or does it fill a functional need?

looks like you have a few texas boot finishes there.. honestly, the darker colors would be best. knowing how dirty the environment at the field is, mixed with some sweat, kero oil and whatever else... the lighter colors would be pretty nasty looking in a short time..

These are professional grade synthetic leather. Can be completely washed off with mineral spirits. Goo and grease do not stick on that stuff and are very easy to remove.

A new color is in the house.
Pearlescent white.

This has gone through the distinctive finish program.
Here is the result:

The mat finish casing.

The casing on the transmitter:

With grey leather padding.

With light brown padding.

With dark brown padding:
