Finding Shock Tower #6047 Traxxas 1/6 Monster buggy.
I need to locate a Front Shock Tower Part #6047 for a traxxas Monster buggy. Traxxas website shows the part as "out of stock",
my question is, being an old car would it be likely that Traxxas will ever have this part available?
Also, are there any aftermarket shock towers that will work on this car?
Basically, I am new to RC, got my car running, decided to take a test drive....however I should have kept it off the wet grass as it turned into a runaway and wedged itself under a fence.
The only damage I see is a cracked front shock tower.
thanks,....

umm might have to make your own as from what I recall that was not a popular product.
As for Traxxas making more shock towers... I think there are better odds you would win the lottery.
Also due to its lack of popularity there more then likely isn't any kind of aftermarket part.
Looked at the part in question that looks like it would be pretty simple to make. If you have an angle grinder you can get a small piece of T6 aluminum, and trace the old one onto it, and just make your own(I have had to do it in the past for older models)
