Walbro carb - factory setting
The engine in my Flair 1/4 scale DR1 stopped in mid air and after a successful dead-stick, I discovered one of the needles had dropped out. I have manage to source a replacement but I cannot get the engine running reliably throughout the rev range.
The engine is a Kalt KG-22 and the carb has 28S (or is it 288?) stamped on the inlet.
Can anyone give me the factory setting which I can use as a starting point to tune the engine?
I did think of fitting a carb from a dead strimmer I have but the bore of the carb was to small. How does Walbro's numbering system waork so i could source a second-hand replacement.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry to be reviving this thread after nearly a year but I thought others might benefit from my experience.
I spent several fruitless sessions last summer, trying to get this engine running properly. Having no luck, I put it away for the winter. The final arrival of summer here incentivised me to have another go.
First of all, I had another study of the 'How a Walbro works' website recommended here. I noticed for the first time that it mentioned a gauze filter. I opened up my carby, took the filter out and found it pretty claggy.
I soaked it in cellulose thinners and scrubbed it with an old tooth-brush until I could see through it.
Carby reassembled and guess what - the engine now runs fine.
The throttle linkage look a bit sub-standard so I won't fly until I have fixed this.
