Default Carden Cuda and 40% Extra 330s

I have a Carden Cuda and I need the recommended CG location.

Next I have a Extra 330s 40% and I had a mishap a few seasons ago and need to get the plane fixed. The mishap was just landing gear, wheel pants, lading gear cuffs, and prop replacement. My problem is how to round off the edges of the new landing gear I have tried sanding them by hand but that is taking a long time. Any ideas besides sanding by hand?

Remove nicks with a 90 degree angle motor and a 80 grit disk, next use a da sander with 180 grit and you are ready for paint, or just find a builder in your area to help you out.

Thanks for the suggestion I ended up using a belt sander to put a bevel on the gear then hand sanding till it looked nice.

Does anybody know the Cuda recommended C.G. Location?

I have a Cuda kit in my stash. I will get it dug out today and let you know what the C.G. range is. Stay tuned.

Hobby

I finally got a measurement on the cuda tonight. It is 6 1/2" back from the finished leading edge at the root rib.

Hey thanks Pat. That will help I need to check the balance on mine it flies a little tail heavy (I think) when I bought the plane I did not get the plans / manual with that info. Come to find out the plane never had the plans or manual because it is one of the prototypes.
