rc card not moving foward or reverse
Hello all
I have re grab my old team losi rc car and for a strange reason I plug everything power on the controller and the car ... I can move the wheel left and right but I can't make the car moving forward or reverse
if I play with the screw of the speed control the wheel spin either direction
can you help me ?

My Feedback: (1)
I think he meant the throttle trim knob on the controller. ?? That is an older speed control. Has a built-in fuse, non-proportional reverse.
You can download the manual here. Try re-calibrating the throttle channel on the ESC. Make sure you center the throttle trim knob first.
Question: does your receiver require a "receiver pack battery"? If so, that battery may need replacing. (I kind of doubt that old speed control has a BEC to supply receiver power, but I could be wrong)
Check to make sure there isn't any wire damage.
Seems odd that you say you can make the rear wheels turn by adjusting the trim knob (if I understand your statement correctly), but when applying throttle trigger, it does not make the drive wheels move? I'm thinking...... hmmm.... If that is true, it implies the radio signal is getting to the car, that is, the transmitter and receiver are working. But pulling on the throttle trigger does NOT make the wheels turn? That says to me that either the ESC needs calibrating (see manual) or, your transmitter throttle trigger isn't functioning. May need a new radio system.

my receiver does not need battery
i think the issue is the trigger of the gaz cause if i switch channel on the receiver on the controller i can apply gaz from the knob of the controller
possible ?

Ohhhh.....hold on..... You said you "switched channels on the receiver". Do you mean that you swapped the wires going into the receiver? Moved the connector in Ch1 to Ch2 and Ch2 to Ch1? (Which would effectively make your throttle trigger the steering, and the steering wheel the throttle.) Is that what you did? And THEN you were able to get the drive wheels to move by adjusting the throttle trim knob? Do I have that right?
Try this: Unplug the wire from the receiver that comes from the steering servo. (It's usually plugged into Ch1 on the receiver). Now power up the car, can you make the drive wheels work with the throttle trigger? If yes, you may have a bad servo. A bad servo can drag the ESC's voltage down to where it won't work or behaves erratically. If it still behaves the same as before, that's not it.
Your radio and receiver: are they the old style AM or FM systems that required matched crystals? Or the crystal-less 2.4ghz systems we have today? And what brand is the radio and receiver? If you've got the old style one that uses crystals, dump it and go buy a FlySky 2.4ghz 2ch radio set for $20. If you DO have a modern radio system, I'd suspect you may have a bad receiver. Can you easily pick up another receiver or borrow one for testing? Have a buddy who can let you try his radio and reciever on your car?

Your controller and receiver IS an old model that uses crystals. I suspect you have a bad receiver, and it wouldn't be worth it to try and find one to replace it. Too susceptible to RF interference. Are you in Canada? Can you order stuff from the US? I suggest you buy a FlySky GT2 2.4ghz transmitter/receiver for $20. I use this controller myself, and it works great. Most inexpensive upgrade you can make. I'll betcha that'll solve your problems.

$35 for shipping??? Ouch! Yeah, I'm sure you can find them on eBay or elsewhere.Just Google "FlySky GT2" And you'll get hits. Suggestion: DON'T get the GT2B. It is an "update" of the GT2, but having had a GT3C powered by a one cell Lipo and not being very happy with it. I don't think FS's low-voltage transmitters are up to snuff. Get the plain ol GT2.
Alternately, if you think you might get more serious about the hobby, look at the GT3B , it also uses a known good transmitter powered by 8 AA batts. More functions, digital display, multi-model memory, etc. Less than $45 on Amazon. Good luck. Let us know how it works out. Cheers!

just for the sake of having an answer, i do believe the issue was your transmitter. i'd be willing to bet the trigger no longer works. the screw he was talking about is the ESC's built in epa adjustments. that ESC is from the days when stick radios were still common for surface rc, well before the days of digital adjustments and automated callibration that we now take for granted. there are 2 built in potentiometers to adjust the neutral and the max speed positions.
