Default Condensation in NiMH Battery pack

Hi,

Quick question... There is condensation inside the plastic wrapper of my Traxxas Ni-MH battery pack. Wondering whether to ignore it or pop it in a sealed box/bag with a silica gel sachet to draw out the moisture. Wondering whether the latter would cause any damage or react or...

Cheers

I'd try and get the moisture out as it will cause massive corrosion
I got water in a NiMh before, and it was dead in 2 runs when I popped it open the terminals were even corroded through.

...or put it in a sealed container with a bunch of rice. That'll draw out the moisture too.

Think I'll have to try the rice... The silica gel pouch doesn't seem to be doing the trick!

Rob is spot on. Rice is the trick. leave it sealed in that for a few days, you will be golden.
