Car with hidden camera?
I'm looking to get a r/c car as it's been several years since I've had one. I want one with a hidden camera built in. It doesn't need to perform well(I'm kinda on a tight budget now), just something simple and inexpensive. Any suggestions?

Like Collector said, hobby grade RCs don't come with cameras. I have seen some toy-grade camera cars in catalogs, tho. Just google "RC camera car" and you might get some hits for such a thing. Otherwise, Tactic (I think) has a wi-fi enabled camera that can be attached to just about anything, for about $80. You could then get a cheapo RC from Big 5 Sporting Goods. But really, those cars are crap. Would work tho, if all you want to do is spy on the dog.

The purpose for the camera is just to do some candid videos of people at the park or mess with my friend's dog and cat and get it on video. The car doesn't have to be high quality, just something that works. It would be nice to have the capability to start and stop recording from the radio remote.

But as far as what you want, depending on the surface, a Dromida RC mini with one of those 808 cameras I was talking about earlier would be a nice choice I'd think.

Instead of one of those key FOBs I'd recommend picking up a used smartphone off ebay.
If you buy a used trakfone, or boost phone you can usually get them for sub $20, and their cameras blow anything else in the range away. In the past I picked up 2 android 2.something Samsung ones for $6 each shipped.
Get some tape, and tape it to the windshield of the RC.

I had felt that way. I bought one this summer. I already broke the lens bezel. I got it replaced but I am scared to put it on now. lol so stupid. I got it to use it but afraid to use it to break it. I just have to run it on my Hyper GT or something where I can mount it inside the car so if I flip over it doesn't make contact. Either that or just make sure when I am running with it I don't make fast turns or crazy jumps.
