Default 1/10 kit

I want to buy a 1/10 scale rc kit but I don't know what else to buy in order of progression. Like, what do you buy first and the second then third? Does anyone have any suggestions of what to buy first after you get the kit?

Thank you

Craig

You buy it all at once. We would need to know what kit you have or want in order to give you a list.

Ah, thank you. Typically, a 4.5 motor 550 can goes well in 4x4 SCTs.

ESC/Motor combo (great price); http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1519275...chn=ps&lpid=82

Maybe like the Yeti so you can race fast and also crawl if you like to try that. Its a good vehicle for multiple uses. I also prefer the Hitec Lynx 4S if I had to recommend an aftermarket radio. I think though you would probably be better off just getting an RTR if you are just starting in the hobby. Or if you prefer a kit to build, go with Axial. I would recommend also a Hitec X2 or X1 touch charger. LOL I would also look at someone else like Tekin or Castle Creations for the motor. I know you are a big fan and seller of the Atomik/Venom brand Collector, I am just not a huge fan.

The Yeti XL is weak. If you're gonna buy a Yeti, get the regular 1/10. If it's all about the size, the HPI Savage Flux HP, Thunder Tiger MT4-G3 (with a brace), and Losi XXL2-E are all tough as nails trucks, and cheaper.

I'm interested in the short course truck. Not too much into the rock crawling truck.

Now we're talkin'. SCT410.3 Thumbs up! That would be one of my top two choices for a 4wd SCT racing platform. Everything on them says "toughness" to me.

I wish Associated would have a new 4wd SC platform kit based off of an 1/8 buggy and not based off an old TT model. One of the reasons I got a RC8.2e was to possibly transform it into a SC8.2e. The other reason...drastic price drop/winning bid. I do believeTeckno, and Durango designers got their 4wd SCTs figured out. I'll probably never own either of the later two brands, unless price drops drastically.

I'm sure you'll have no trouble sorting out which radio, and other electronics to gather up. Airtronics MT-4 and Tekin...I know they're on my wishlist.
