Default Reedy servo application question

I purchased a Reedy RT1508 servo to use in an RC10 SC5M short course truck. It's been a while since I've been in the car side of the RC hobby. I want to race the truck. In the past, I remember always using servo savers. What's the best servo saver that fits the RT1508? I also noticed that the RC10 SC5M kit provided 4 servo horns of which none seemed to work. The Reedy info shows the shaft to be 25 spline, the same as Futaba I believe, but the "F" marked horn didnt seem to fit. Any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

In that case I would get a 25 tooth clamping style horn:

With a good strong servo, you won't need a servo saver like back in the Kimbrough days. Most 1/10 "racing" platforms don't even come with built in servo savers like a lot of the RTR platforms come with. Everyone wants to "feel" the track...so I'm told. The exclusion of the servo saver gives better control, and better steering precision that racers want with their high-end/high speed servos.

I had to jump back in here and say that, just because someone buys a metal gear, high speed, high torque, high voltage...this does not guarantee servo gears will not be stripped or broken in a unfortunate happening. Metal gear doesnt mean all gears are metal, most of the time. I've bought $$$ high dollar "metal gear" servos, only to find that a lot of those servos have at least one gear in the gear train that is plastic.

I would like to believe that the larger amounts of money that we RCers spend, on big named brand servos, is for quality materials used in making servos. 'Cause this is one area I don't like to skimp on when it comes to my RCs, normally. Also, the provident side of me also doesn't believe in buying a servo that costs almost as much as the kit I just bought .

I've always used servo savers when I raced. From the Frog days 'til the time the RC10B4.2 came out...servo savers were included, or, like my "FT" kits, they were built into the steering rack.

This now has me thinking, and curious to see if (and when) any of Associated's "5" series platforms will become RTRs. Here's an idea...basic stripped down "racing" platform kits would be nice for newcomers to hop-up as they see necessary.
