Default RE: question

I recomend a Hummingbird because of its good flying and durability performance but:

I would get time on a simulator(preferably Realflight G2) so you can learn to fly a heli.

Once you learn to fly you won't have to worry about crashing your new bird...

If you would like to just start flying you could by a hummingbird combo that comes with everything at www.helihobby.com or www.centuryheli.com ...

The combos don't provide as good as equipment which makes it harder to fly;

IT DEPENDS ON YOUR BUDGET WHAT KIND OF HELI YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE
(ok flyer) or (Precise great flyer)

Always glad to help

Default RE: question

That is not a "bad" package(doesn't come with a Heading Hold Gyro which can be harder to control and it does come with one mod...

With that package you would have the option of upgrading to...

All of these componets on this link at helihobby:

http://www.helihobby.com/html/hummingbird_upgrades.html

Out of these the heatsinks for main and tail motor I would buy right when you buy the heli

The stock motor will last only an hour or so of flight time(if that) so you will need to buy a better or replacement one.

Piccolo-Not too bad but I don't believe it flys as well and have heard quite a few other people who have had one and got a Hummer and liked it much better.(I have never had one)

Go with tomfliers' advice. Best way to go is the HB.
