Default Pst 600r

Not entirely new to Rcuniverse, but forgot my old username. So, nice to be back!
I am, however, new to jets, but hopefully learning quickly.
I have a PST 600R that the TEMS died on. I have since replaced it with the Xicoy FADEC, and set it up as suggested by someone in the know on this forum.
I have now run the turbine which starts and runs without fault, almost....
I'm, manualy supplying tbe gas at start up and so, I have been removing the gas line while the engine is running. When I remove the gas line, there is a constant stream of vapour coming from the gas line, which increases with revs. There are actually a few drips of fuel coming out of the gas line too.
I know this is not normal, but why is it so???
Thanks.

It is normal. You have to block the gas line when running not leave it open.

Thanks NZjet. The only other turbine I've run is a Kingtech 80E. I don't plug the gas line on that after start up, and haven't noticed it venting fuel or vapors, but now I know, I'll plug!

Cheers!

You don't have to on the kingtech, I assume it has the gas valve on it, that closes by itself where the PST has no valve at all.
