Nice to see a new paint scheme.. but Im sorry, there really wasnt anything wrong with the V-1 version. Flew mine welll over 700 flights without issue. The tip tanks are a nice addition but I was REALLY hoping that you would have dropped that ugly bulbous canopy
But all the same... Good to see you keeping the most purchased and successful flying turbine model of all time alive!
I recently redid mine based on Kenny Roberts famous TZ 750

My Feedback: (2)
Good Demo
Larry,
Questions:
1. What receiver model are you using?
2. Are you running redundant receivers?
3. Have you tried the FrSky airspeed sensor?
4. Please supply info on the electric gear?
5. Are the brakes electric or air?
I still have the first Boomerang Intro sold in the U.S. Only damage ever was knocked the nose gear out on a prairie dog hole.

Nice plane! But would think the black LE would be a problem (at least for me). Also it seems heavier than the old one (23 lbs empty) ?

The second Sprint I owned, had a P-140 in it. It blew the Horizontal stab right off when I went from horizontal to straight up. Damn thing kept going horizontal, rolled and the wingtip touched the ground. Apparently the pilot was looking for moles. Anyway it cartwheeled and was scattered over 400'. The replacement Sprint holds up very well to my P-100. Just does not go as fast as the P-140 did. Got the Ultra Flash for speed. But, I keep flying the Sprint for a good comfortable relaxing jet flights. The Sprint is the best trainer out there. IMHO if you want to get your waiver, the Sprint is the way to go!

do you guys have the CG back to where it will sit on its tail when empty and no canopy? that was how I remember my old one, Im going to maiden a new one, and it was calling for almost a pound in the nose along with 3 batteries, and I didn't thing that was appropriate.. Made the nose very heavy..
I thought I would put about 4 ounces in for the maiden, and then see which way to go from there.

In my first Sprint I had a P-90, which is the same size as a P-140. To get the CG called for, I had to add 24 oz of lead in the nose. Eventually I took out about a pound and it still flew just the same. The current one has a p-100 in it, and it has no lead. But the three batteries are in the nose with two of them flat packs up above the nose gear. The Turbine battery is a 2S 5700 mah LiPo. The two Rxer batteries are 2000 mah 2S flat pack LiPos. Point being with that much battery no added lead was needed and I can fly it 10 + times w/o recharging.
