Pilot de Havilland Tiger Moth Scale Model Kit, 1:6.2 Scale - NIB
This kit is the fabulous Tiger Moth by Pilot (aka OK Models), one of the premier Japanese kit manufacturers from the 80's era!
The Tiger Moth is an iconic biplane from the 1930's 'Golden Era' of aviation. It was used in WWII as a trainer by the RAF and was also used for surveillance and even light bombing. It even made an appearance in the movies with Robert Redford piloting it in 'Out of Africa'.
The kit features exact die cut ribs & bulkheads, hand machined cut parts, plastic parts, and most hardware. The parts are beautifully made! It also includes full-size plans, a fully illustrated construction guide, and decals. These kits are so well made that they are a joy to build, and fly even better. The detail to scale is preserved amazingly well.
The Moth will require a .40-.45 2-stroke or .60-.80 4-stroke, or electric equivalent. It spans about 57", and will weigh-in at 5-7 lbs.
This is a very rare kit that is long out of production! It will build into a beautiful scale model that will be a delight to fly, or just show off at your field. You can be pretty sure no one else will have one!
Buy it now before someone else does!
Buyer pays shipping USPS Retail (Economy) Ground.
Thanks for looking!!
