Jeti CB400, REX Assist, Rsat2(REX3 and 900mhz
This may have been covered peviously but without going through thousands of posts here it is.
To connect a CB400 with a Jeti REX Assist, Rsat2/REX3 and Rsat 900mhz receivers. This configuration works perfectly as it should however there a few things you need to do and understand.
Bind all Rx' as you normally would for Dual Path and 900 operation..ie: not yet connected to CB400
The Assist Rx E2 port should be Configured for EXT and connected in the Rx1 position of the CB
The Rsat 2/REX3 EXT port should be connected in the Rx2 position of the CB
The Rsat900 EXT Port should be connected in the EXT1 position of the CB.
Power on the CB400/Rx's and you should get a succesfull bind on all 3 rx's, shown by 3 ticks in the LH corner of the screen. Go into the CB400 configuration screen via Device Explorer, and change EXT1 port to "Receiver".
Next step is critical...In the Assist Flight Mode Setting Page/Failsafe, change the "Intelligent Stabilized" to "Assist Off"
This tells the CB400 or any CB for that matter to Not Lock Servos to their Preset Positions and Look for another Valid signal from either the connected Rsat2/REX3 or Rsat900 receivers.
You can confirm it works by individuall disabling Signal, you will notice the corresponding "Transmission Tick" will dissapear with each selection but control of surfaces will remain.
Obviously during a failsafe condition there will be no "Assist" function but realistically, maintaining radio link snd control is more important than smoothing out a flight control.
