Wild Hare Edge or Giles 202??? Which one
I've been reading all the posts on Wild Hare and I really like the new Edge and the Giles 202. Does anyone already have the new Edge and what does it fly like? Also does anyone have the Giles 202 and what does it fly like? I've already read the RCU review on the Giles just trying to get a personal observation from an owner. I need to know how the kit holds up, if it is quality built, ect. any info is needed. I'm currently waiting on a reply from Tom of Wild Hare maybe he can see me a manual on both, this would anwser lots of my questions.

The Edge 540T manual should come out soon also when the plane is released and shipments are being made.

Kind of an apples and oranges question??
2 different planes.
The giles being a 35% and the edge being a 27%.
I have read flight reports on the giles, some were great for quality, others had some issues. Let it be know that most reports were written durring early production of this aircraft.
The most important thing you should know about Wild hare RC is Tom, one of the BEST as far as customer service goes in this hobby.....by far.
Tom spent about 1 hour talking to me about the giles on the phone, turned out his 35% extra would have been a better deal for what I was looking for.
I did not buy the extra, went with another 33% plane for now.
The edge has caught my eye, I will wait for others to buy and flight test, it is still new.
The giles looks like a nice plane and is different than the usual cap, extra and edges at the field. The thing wilh the giles is the amount of wing vs the cap, extras and edges. The giles are smaller planes in full scale, so have less wing area in the RC world. This giles will 3D, but is not a 3D trainer such as the 33% H9 cap 232, or AW edge540. I would have to think the giles would be a good imac plane, just not so good for down low 3D with a timid pilot.
