Default OMP Edge Question

Hello again!

I have a question a bit silly. My english is failing me understand this part of the instructions.

when putting in the front fuse doublers (plywood) do you have to cut out the shape of the doubler on the balsa skin and glue the doublers in so that it meets flush with the balsa skin or do you just glue the doublers on top of the balsa skins??? I know it may be a silly question but my english is not helpig ery much to understand this part...thanks in adavanced for your replies guys!

If it is like my Sledge, the plywood doublers are glue OVER the balsa. But what do I know, this is my first kit also.

Glue on the doublers then sand the balsa flush to them. They wont match up perfectly, you will have to do some sanding. I used a 10 inch belt sander.

They go over the balsa. To avoid the ridge at the rear of the doublers, BEFORE you put them on, sand a bevel on the rear edges. That way, they will belnd in to the fuse better.

There will be a ridge, but if you bevel it, it's not hard to cover, although you will probably not be able to do the fuse with one piece of covering.

Well oops! I think i did it wrong!! Do you guys think i should leave it like that and it won't be a problem or do you think i should take the doublers out and resheet with balsa and do it right? it seems plenty stiff and i'm only going to use a .46 FX engine no big four stroke. I thought i was doing it right this way since some other profiles do use this method of gluing the doublers directly to the frame of the profile.
