That GR-7 looks familiar , I wonder where those molds came from Rick ....
I've actually started on mounting the wing and composite fire-wall , got an alcohol injected 3W150 for power , should move it along pretty well
How you been keeping mate ?

This looks like a vey cool project.
Are cheek cowls needed for a turbo-prop? (Maybe thats why so many turboprops look weird, lack of cheek cowls)

I made the molds--the picture of the plane is a plug I made

Actually--I'm taking the advantage of those cheeks to hide and turn the exhaust to discharge to the rear of the cheeks

Default gr7

The GR7 kits I have seen have a canopy and a separate engine cowling--I made a one piece for access. Also they had one piece wings 11ft long with the gear in it so I incorporated wing strakes with the gear located in them---to increase internal air flow I installed louvers that look like gills

on each side the gear they use looks too plain so I added my own version

Hated the look of the GR gear so I added my own flavor

I think your airplane is morphing into a shark!...
Considering you've built a dragon, I'm not surprised!...
This should be interesting...

I plan to cast more dragon teeth for the shark mouth--painting them on is for sissies

I hate openings to have a raw glass edge so I blend an aluminum tube 1/8 inch into the pant opening so the molds reflect the shape
