I have an old Wren 54 that was converted to auto start. It has been hanging up before it transitions to run and flames badly. When it does start it runs fine. Does anyone have a suggestion where my problem might be? Should I change the pump start point or the engine minimum flow?

Try a fresh battery...at this point the system is pulling the most amps....and if your battery is weak this can be the result!
