After a Decade of fun with the Giant "Touch of Magenta" as a turbine, now it's under a new power source, 10+ Kwatt E-powered with the energy supplied directly from the sunshine, free of charge, LOL.
Last days as turbine powered.
Now as an EDF-power.
2 kilos heavier as EDF.
In action as an EDF.

Luge boy, don't worry, some haven't got a clue about metric measurements. Being an EX golfer I work out both pretty good to nearest meter or feet.
BTW, my father used to race luge and bobsleds in the good old days of early fifties along these killer race tracks, there was actually the longest one on the planet he used to race on in Tatranska Lomnica, High Tatra Mnts. Those crazy days they used to hold under their arm pit this huge 5 meters long pole (BYDLO) cut out from the strait pine tree used to help steering, just imagine two 80+ kilo heavy guys sitting on this race luge, with legs sticking out all over the thing hurling down at 100km/h along sharp mantinel curves with this huge pole hanging behind! Sheer madness!
But bob sleds were a different story with 4 idiots sitting inside, often coming over the mantinels at high speed and few got hanged on sharp broken off pine tree brances, ending dead!
Those were the days of real man. LOL.

"Touch of Magenta's" power unit now installed in "F9F-Panterak", with its wing tip mods to improve performance and wing load reduction as 12kg heavy EDF powered one. Rather surprised, now as a real thing it is 2.5 kilo lighter, 7.5 empty or 9-9.2 kilos wet ready.
Fully fitted out, just listed for sale dirt cheap to get rid off to downsize my IC fleet to almost fully electric.
Magenta's old power horse now in the new home.
Converted from heavy EDF to a real thing.
Fully fitted out for a new owner.
