Dominator?
Afternoon everyone,
I recently came into a Q500 plane that is named Dominator. Is anyone familiar with this design? The wing is a bit on the heavy side but I suspect it would make a decent enough 424 or 426 racer with a decent engine. It is solid with no apparent structural problems but hasn't been flown in quite some time. It came with S148 Futaba servos that will be replaced of course and a Thunder Tiger Pro 46 that is locked up tighter than Dicks hatband. It shows signs of loosening up but it makes me think this plane has never been raced and appears to have very few flights. Is the Dominator a decent race plane? I doubt I'll win anything even if I ever find another race close by but it might be a decent enough plane to have some fun in the above classes. Opinions? Thanks.
