Default Latex Paint Cure Time

I've got to clearcote an ARF that's been painted with latex and Rust oleum. I'm trying to follow what Roy Vaillancourt suggested. I think I read where he suggested the latex should cure and outgas for a couple weeks before clear coating and I think I also read he might have said 3 months. I see Vally aviation in Google but I click it and it doesn't go anywhere. Does anyone know how long latex should cure before clear-coating?

Also, I could use suggestions for clear coating. I bought some Klass Kote items about 10 years ago and never opened them. I'm not sure if they are still good? I'm also not sure if I have enough to coat a 50cc sized plane? Here's what I have:

Part A Epoxy 8 oz.
Part B Satin Catalyst 8 oz.
Epoxy reducer 16 oz.

I bought them to paint a couple props I still need to paint.

Someone recommended this:
Amazon Amazon

Thanks, in advance, for any help!

I’ve painted with latex paint. I can’t give you a drying time. I just gave it, guess, some time to dry. You might try painting the plane and also a sample piece. Then test the sample piece at various times to see how dry it may be.

I used flat paint with a top coat all sprayed. The plastic coroplast plane was my test plane for glow fuel. As you can see this top coat worked good for glow fuel. About a 3 1/2 years between before and after. Paint has chipped in places due to plastic coroplast.

I have used a blow dryer to speed cure latex paints. It allowed me to complete a Tri-color Navy scheme and all the markings in one day. Used Klass Kote flat clear the next day. The blow dryer vice heat gun prevents the possibility of damaging the model by over heating and bubbling the painted surface.
