Best battery for RCGF stinger 15RE with high voltage ignition
Need some help to decide which battery (and Servos) to use for the high voltage ignition used on the RCGF stinger engines. Label says 7.4v to 14v.
Should I use a 6 cell NiMH, or 2 cell LiFe, or 2 cell Li-Po.
The plane is a Hangar 9 Twist 60.
Receiver is a Frsky S8R.
Will be using a tech-aero ibec.
Servos: either HS-645MG or D645MW (depending on battery voltage).
I’d like to use the LiFe batteries, but I’ve heard some say the LiFe batteries are ok and some say the voltage is to low causing the engine to misfire.
