19 or 20" Props fror G38?
I am looking for all the vertical I can get with a G38. Anybody out there try a 19 or 20" prop? If so, what kind and at what RPM.
Thanks,
JB

G-38 Props
I have had great success with 20 X 8's on this engine after it is broken in. As one other guy asked, what plane? If you want really good vertical and the plane is over the 15 to 17 pound range, get a bigger engine ( G-45).
The prop I have referred to is a Zinger or wooden Master Air Screw. Your oil content needs to be low to get max. performance too. I run 60:1 Amsoil but only after 4-5 gallons of 40:1 petroleum oil for break-in.
Good luck,
Lou
